Our Services
I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families via secure telehealth sessions. Virtual therapy offers the flexibility to engage in meaningful therapeutic work from the comfort of your own home, eliminating the need for travel and making therapy more accessible. Research shows that telehealth is just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns, providing a confidential and convenient way to receive support that fits into your life. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your concerns, identify treatment goals, and develop a plan tailored to your needs.
Therapy for Individuals
Individual therapy provides a space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a supportive, confidential environment. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or other concerns, I work collaboratively with you to develop strategies that foster growth and well-being.
Therapy for Adolescents
For adolescent clients, I typically meet individually with the adolescent for the first 45-50 minutes of the initial session. Parents are then invited to participate in the last 10-15 minutes to receive a summary of diagnostic impressions and discuss treatment recommendations. In some cases, it may be more appropriate to structure the intake process as two sessions.
Therapy for Couples
When working with couples, I begin with an initial session where both partners meet together. This allows us to establish goals, identify patterns in the relationship, and understand each partner’s perspective. Following this, I meet individually with each partner for one session before resuming joint sessions. This approach ensures that both individuals feel heard and have space to share personal insights that may be difficult to express in a joint session. It also helps identify personal dynamics that may be contributing to relationship challenges. By gaining a deeper understanding of each partner’s needs, therapy can be more effective in fostering communication, connection, and growth.
Therapy for Families
Family therapy begins with an initial session that includes the family as a whole. This helps establish a shared understanding of concerns and goals while creating a collaborative foundation for the work ahead. Subsequent sessions may involve different configurations, such as individual meetings or sessions with specific family members, depending on the needs of the family. This flexible approach allows for deeper exploration of family dynamics while also providing space for individuals to process their experiences. It ensures that therapy remains responsive to the evolving needs of each family member while working toward shared goals.
Session Length and Availibility
Psychotherapy sessions are typically 55 minutes in length but can be adjusted based on your needs. All sessions are conducted virtually, providing a secure and convenient way to engage in therapy wherever you feel most comfortable.
