Learn more about:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used, evidence-based approach that focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. It’s built on the idea that unhelpful thought patterns can influence how we feel and act—and that by identifying and changing these patterns, we can feel better and make more empowered choices.
CBT is structured, goal-oriented, and highly effective for concerns like anxiety, depression, stress, and more. Many clients appreciate how practical and collaborative it is.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies. Originally developed to support people with intense emotions or difficulty with emotional regulation, DBT has since been adapted to help with a wide range of challenges.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, mood swings, relationship stress, or impulsive behaviors, DBT can provide skills that help you feel more grounded, balanced, and in control.

Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP)

Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP or ERP) is the gold-standard treatment for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). It helps people face the fears and intrusive thoughts that drive OCD, while learning to resist the compulsions or rituals that may temporarily reduce anxiety but ultimately reinforce the cycle.

The goal isn’t to eliminate anxiety entirely, but to reduce its power over your life—and to build confidence that you can handle uncertainty, distress, and the intrusive thoughts that come with OCD.

I am certified in EXRP through the CBI Center for Education, an organization dedicated to training clinicians in evidence-based approaches to anxiety and OCD treatment. Certification involved in-depth coursework, hands-on training, and clinical supervision to ensure a strong foundation in applying EXRP effectively and ethically. This means you can feel confident that you’re receiving care that is both compassionate and grounded in the latest research.

If you’re struggling with OCD, know that it is treatable—and that recovery is possible with the right support.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a trauma-informed therapy approach designed to help people process and heal from distressing experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation—such as eye movements, tapping, or sounds—to help the brain reprocess memories that have become “stuck” due to trauma or overwhelming stress.
Unlike talk therapy alone, EMDR allows you to access and resolve trauma on a deeper level, often without needing to recount every detail of the experience. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I use this approach when it aligns with your goals and readiness for this kind of work.
