Tailored Therapy Services for Every Stage of Life

Services

I provide virtual psychotherapy to adolescents (13 and up), young adults, and adults across eight states: Iowa, Minnesota, Massachusetts, New York, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.  Virtual therapy offers the flexibility to engage in meaningful therapeutic work from the comfort of your own home, eliminating the need for travel and making therapy more accessible. Research shows that telehealth is just as effective as in-person therapy for many concerns, providing a confidential and convenient way to receive support that fits into your life. During your initial consultation, we will discuss your concerns, identify treatment goals, and develop a plan tailored to your needs.

Therapy for Individuals

Individual therapy provides a space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a supportive, confidential environment. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or other concerns, I work collaboratively with you to develop strategies that foster growth and well-being.

Therapy for Young Adults

When working with young adults, I provide a supportive and collaborative space to navigate the unique challenges that often arise during this stage of life. Young adulthood can involve significant transitions related to school, career, relationships, identity, independence, and mental health, all while trying to build a sense of stability and direction. Together, we work to better understand patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt, or feeling stuck, while also building practical tools for coping and growth. Therapy is intended to help young adults feel more grounded, confident, and connected to themselves as they navigate an often demanding and rapidly changing phase of life.

Therapy for Adolescents

For adolescent clients, I typically meet individually with the adolescent for the first 45-50 minutes of the initial session. Parents are then invited to participate in the last 10-15 minutes to receive a summary of diagnostic impressions and discuss treatment recommendations. In some cases, it may be more appropriate to structure the intake process as two sessions. This is something we can discuss in the intake call.

Session Length and Availibility

Psychotherapy sessions are typically 55 minutes in length but can be adjusted based on your needs. All sessions are conducted virtually, providing a secure and convenient way to engage in therapy wherever you feel most comfortable.

Insurance and Fees

I am currently an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. However, many clients are able to utilize out-of-network benefits for partial reimbursement. Upon request, I can provide a monthly superbill for submission to your insurance company. Because coverage varies widely, I encourage clients to contact their insurance provider directly to better understand their out-of-network mental health benefits.

I also recognize that therapy is a meaningful financial investment, and I never want cost alone to prevent someone from reaching out for support. Sliding fee options are available based on need and availability, and I’m always happy to have an open conversation about fees, payment options, and what may be workable for your situation.

If you’re ready to get started or have questions about telehealth therapy, I invite you to reach out.
